How long have you been a Disc Jockey and Master Of Ceremonies?
I’ve been a DJ and MC since 1996. I started out as a DJ’s assistant in high school and decided to buy my own business when I was 19 years old.

How many events have you been a part of in that time?
To be honest, I never truly kept exact count, but if my memory is correct it’s somewhere in the 350-400 range.

What is your DJing “style”?
This has been a very common question lately, and there are many ways I can answer this, but the short answer is…. My DJ style is to provide a professional but relaxed vibe to your event. I do this by talking to you and your guests like we have been friends forever (No cheesy fake radio voice) and by playing the music you want to hear guaranteed. I’m not a “club” type DJ that uses turntables but I do mix my music seamlessly to give you a great party!

What is the “Music Guarantee” you mention?
Our music guarantee is that any song suggestions/requests you give me prior to your event I will guarantee I have them available for you at your event. You can always fit in every request but if the mood is right I will be sure to play as many as possible.

Even though I know you will play any genre of music and play what I want to hear, what is your favorite type of music to play?
Really, my favorite kind of music is anything with a great beat. Which would include some funky electro lounge cocktail music to some disco/funk to the most popular songs of the last 20 years.

You mention lighting in your services page and also in your blog, do you have any additional information including pictures of these services?
Absolutely! Like you probably read in my blog, there are many ways we can add that “wow” factor to you event. Lighting usually sells itself once you see pictures of venue transformations. I have many pictures I can show you, so if you are interested in those pictures don’t hesitate to contact me and we can sit down and discuss your options with the venue you have chosen.

Wow, your services sound great but it also sounds like you might be out of my budget. What are your rates for all these services?
This is another very common question, but unfortunately there is no exact answer. I don’t have set “packaged” rates for my events. I tailor my services to the exact needs of you and your venue and quote you a rate based on the whole event. I only do one event per day so because of that I offer all my services on a no time limit basis, thus you never having to worry about stopping the party early because you only paid the DJ to a specific time.

You mention that part of your rate is based on the needs of my venue, what would that include?
A lot of venues need extra equipment to properly distribute the sound. We hardly ever just put up two speakers any longer; most venues take 3 if not more. This may seem light a small detail but it is in fact very important to the success of your event.

What motivates you to still be a Disc Jockey and Master of Ceremonies after 16 years?
This is a great question but a pretty simple one to answer. There are two main components of why I have done this so long.
#1. Simply, because I love to do it! There is nothing like knowing you are the one creating once in a lifetime memories by providing an awesome party and fun environment for clients and their guests.
#2. My Family. My wife and 2 sons are my life and by me continuing to be a DJ and MC, it helps me give them the life they deserve. And because of my family, I don’t work every weekend; in fact, I limit how many events I do every year because of them.
